Overview

Diskeeper 2009 Administrator Edition saves you time and money by providing complete centralized management of Diskeeper operations for all machines on your network, including installation, configuration, monitoring, updating, email reports and alerts and more. With simplified "policy-based" management of clients in existing or newly-defined groups, you can handle the problems of file system performance across your entire site without ever leaving your desk!

Diskeeper 2009 Administrator utilizes the .NET™ framework, and can store data on an existing SQL server or on a Microsoft® SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) database on any workstation (MSDE is included with Administrator). Diskeeper 2009 Administrator's extensible architecture allows you to run multiple consoles connecting to one or multiple databases.

These improvements include: A new search feature similar to that found with Microsoft’s Active directory to quickly find a computer by selectable criteria, live scan/report times that now complete 5-10X faster, support for entering Fully Qualified Domain Names, and enhanced support for Diskeeper clients to push report information to the selected Diskeeper Administrator. 
• New! Diskeeper Management Pack for MOM/SCOM : Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) allow monitoring and management of numerous computers interconnected by one or more communications networks. Enterprise administrators can now use a Diskeeper Management Pack, included with Diskeeper Administrator, for MOM/SCOM to monitor and manage Diskeeper installations deployed in their network. This functionality will include numerous alerts, reports, and the ability to manage and control product configurations.

• New! Automatic Defrag Management Diskeeper Administrator’s “Set it and Forget It™” policy management system can automatically deploy and configure Diskeeper for all your network systems. Simply set policies for deployment and configuration, bind them to your Active Directory within Diskeeper Administrator, and Diskeeper will automatically install and configure Diskeeper to newly added computers, and return/restore Diskeeper licenses from decommissioned systems.

Supported File Systems
Diskeeper supports the Microsoft® NTFS (New Technology File System), FAT16 (File Allocation Table) and FAT32 file system formats.
